Tables come in different sizes, and therefore, choosing the number of tables for a certain number of guests, you must also consider the size of table you will be needing.
For a 60inch round table which is the standard table for most ceremonies, it will contain 8 guests per table. Therefore, for a guest of 200, you will need a 25, and 60-inch table.
While if you want to consider larger tables like the 72-inch, you will be needing 8 – 10 guests per person, therefore, you will need 20 tables for 200 guests, when considering a 72inch round table.
The table below shows a brief of how many tables will be needed for 10, 20, 30, 50, 100, 150, and 200 guests.

How Many People Can You Sit At A 120 Table?
For a table of 120, if the table is 60inch, then you will need 960 people, you can do the calculation, 120 X 8 = 960.
120 = for the number of tables available
8 = the number of people that can sit on one 60-inch table.
Therefore, if the table is 72, then, it will be able to contain as high as 1200 people. 10 people per table for a 72inch table.
How Many Tables Do I Need For 150 Guests?
For a guest of 150, you will be considering 19 tables for a 60 Inch Round Table and 15 tables for a 72inch round table.
Let’s do the calculation:
Each 60 Inch Round table will contain 8 guests, which will be 150 \ 8 = 18.75 tables, which will be equal to 19.
